6th Chicagoland Walk for Children with Apraxia

Wow.  We are deeply humbled by the outpouring of love, support and generosity for our kids with apraxia.  Despite the cold and unexpected rain, the walk was an amazing success, thanks to all of you.  We loved seeing the pink tutus, the poignant t-shirts, the inspirational posters and the excitement of all the medal winners!  This year, we set records with over $63,000 raised to date, 57 teams and 778 registered walkers.  Wow again!

The funds raised at the walk will be used towards CASANA’s research programs, education and training for parents and speech therapists, grants to families in need of speech therapy, and will help support our local families through The Apraxia Connection.

Thank you for going above and beyond this year, for forming teams and surpassing goals, for raising awareness among family friends, co-workers and strangers, and for celebrating your kids with us!

Please look at the list of very kind donors from this years walk.

Below you will also find several pictures from the walk. If you have any photos you'd like to share with us please email us at info@theapraxiaconnection.org
